The trade fair BAU in Munich was again a strong visitor magnet this year. More than 250,000 guests came flooding into the halls for information about the latest sector news. Elero, as one of the 2000 exhibitors from 42 countries, was right in the middle of it all, and has only positive news to tell. The novelties and the opportunity for personal expert discussions attracted numerous interested people to the exhibition stand of the manufacturer of drives and control units.
“For us, the trade fair was a full success. Our team presented the current products to a broad expert audience from various nations, conducted inspiring discussions and found suitable solutions”, elero’s Managing Director Jochen Lütkemeyer summarises.
Personal contact is very important to us
The personal contact to long-standing partners and seeing new faces are the main reasons why elero participates in each trade fair. “Only in dialogue do you get honest feedback on products and services as well as new ideas. For elero, this is the basis of every success. A booth at the BAU provides the best conditions for this. We will be able to gain many new impulses from this intense exchange of ideas. And the new contacts we were able to make are extremely promising. We are delighted about potential business partners and exciting projects all over the world”, Lütkemeyer discloses. Above all architects and facade planners were eager for information on existing possibilities of the intelligent movement of the building shell. With its linear actuators and control units, elero meets the highest demands. Furthermore, manufacturers of facade and sun protection solutions were interested in ideas for the motorization and control of their own systems.
LIMALine, Picolo und Co. are in demand
The automation of the slats via the LIMALine rotary drive is currently particularly in demand. Subtly integrated into the static profile, it moves the elements within a tracking area of 360°. The compact Picolo for the adjustment of the photovoltaic and sun protection systems met with great interest. The concept of elero was successful in enabling people to experience its products live through exhibits such as rotating glass slats. The visitors also paid much attention to the drive and control system technology for the “classic” privacy and sun protection. This particularly attracted craftsmen, specialist companies, installers and end customers. With its modular concept, elero offers the whole spectrum of motorization and control units for any blinds. The product line’s is available as standard with the bidirectional radio system ProLine 2, which reliably implements all signals via routing function and provides corresponding feedback.
elero convinces in addition with new technologies
The interest in the Smart Home topic is still unbroken. With its Centero automation solution, elero offers innovative and stable technology. The control unit enables the radio-based management of the entire building technology via smartphone and tablet. Features such as the use of automatic processes or the individual saving and activation of entire scenarios make living safer, more energy-efficient and provide added comfort.
